sheep 是可數名詞 (Countable noun)
亦是 irregular plurals，
單複同形，故此 sheep 的眾數是沒有 s 的。
古代英國發現有些動物每每出現都是複數 (成群成群的算)，
不會一隻一隻去數，因此描述時都是以「一群」去說，不會加上 s。
單複同形可分成以下三類
單複皆為單數：

用詞非著簡單，配上圖畫孩子一看就清楚明白，
非常直觀。就算英語程度為 0 都完全沒有問題。
因為是兒歌，其實有非常多的版本，
個人還滿喜歡另一個版本的，
下面版本的動物比較多，
小朋友可以學到更多動物：
我小孩最喜歡的其中一本。
每天晚上 bed time story 時間一定要有它。
二歲的小孩兒，一知道是閱讀時間，都會馬上說 E-I-E-I-O。
閱讀時她很喜歡聽我們模仿動物的的叫聲：
baa baa sheep, oink oink pig… 等等
她都會很歡快的跟著諗。
不論是歌還是看著這本和小孩一起說說
農場裡的一花一草，一動一靜，
小孩都會聽得很歡快，
實在是一本入門的好童書。
